Redeeming Meals

Meal Cards

Selection of a Dining Services Meal Plan entitles you to a Meal Card (your Student ID Card), which allows you purchasing power equivalent to the plan you have selected. Please note:

  • Meal Cards are non-transferable.
  • Meal Cards cannot be used by anyone but the purchaser.
  • For security reasons, we cannot allow a student to enter the dining hall without their student ID or with another ID.

Lost Your Card?

Go to the Security Office to get a new one for a $10 fee.

Eatable App

Digitally load your meal card on the eatable app and never worry about being without it! With the Eatable App, you can see how many meals you have left for the week and view the weekly dining hall menu.

K Cash

K Cash is a supplement to the weekly meal allowance, and can be used in the Welles Dining Hall, Richardson Room, and the Book Club. It works like a bank debit card; each time you make a purchase the total dollar amount is subtracted from the balance in your account.

The K Cash value with the meal plan you choose is entered onto your card into the computer system. Each time you make a K Cash purchase at the Dining Hall, Richardson Room or Book Club, our computer will deduct the amount of that purchase from your account. K Cash rolls over semester to semester but does expire at the end of the school year.

K Cash Plus

Students are allowed to add money on their student ID in addition to the K Cash that is offered with their meal plan. K Cash Plus does roll over until senior year. To add K Cash Plus using cash, check, money order or credit card, go to the Dining Services Office in the lower level of the Hick’s Center. Call the office at 269.337.7370 to purchase with a credit/debit card.
